## Astech-Congo - Umoja Funding

**Problem we are solving**

In Africa in general, and in the Democratic Republic of Congo in particular, SMEs have enormous difficulties to evolve and survive because of the lack of financing and even conventional bank loans.

 **Solution**

Umoja-Funding helps equip agrifood producers with the capital they need to grow their businesses and have a more sustainable future. We have set up a crowdfunding platform that brings together a community of value-driven lenders who participate in simple and flexible business loans. The objective is to raise funds in small amounts from a large audience in order to finance a project in the agri-food sector.
