## Routemasters

**Problem we are solving**

Public transport in emerging African cities is undergoing acute pressure due to a growing population, which is set to double to 2 billion by the year 2050, and rapid urbanization that is constraining mobility. At present, public transport systems are largely chaotic, unorganized and commuters are in need of mobility solutions to navigate their cities.

 **Solution**

Using unique algorithms to help users plan and navigate public transport journeys in emerging cities, Routemasters is mapping and optimizing transportation systems for the public good; creating applications designed to help commuters navigate their public transport systems while supporting businesses and decision makers with insights to grow their economy.
