The good news is that technology has already [proved its capability](https://seedstarslife.com/summit/the-mag-migration/?__hstc=242025565.c9a372498fb707241a59bbc2e7a08046.1603964344551.1604310789424.1604384884387.9&__hssc=242025565.9.1604384884387&__hsfp=413475300) to aid migrant workers around the world all the way through the migration cycle. With the importance of utilizing technology, it is then necessary to provide migration-focused tech start-ups with the right support. That’s why we partnered with IOE and the Business Advisory Group on Migration to give impact-driven start-ups opportunities for more innovation to arise. This year, the Migration Challenge is set to bring select and bring 20 start-ups to the [13th GFMD Summit](https://www.gfmd.org/gfmd-2020-integrated-proposal-uae) and [Tech Garden](https://www.thetechgarden.com/) (Dubai) happening in January 2021, where the grand winner will participate in the global Seedstars Summit 2021 and will have access to the three-month Seedstars Investment Readiness Mentorship. Applications are open to start-ups offering solutions in any industry that directly aim to improve migration systems responding to labour market needs. Qualified participants must offer solutions in any of the following fields: * FinTech * HR Tech * CivicTech * EdTech * AgriTech * Remittance * other migration-related services.
