Bimalab Investment Readiness Program

The BimaLab Accelerator Investment Readiness Program, a partnership between FSD Africa and Seedstars, is designed to address the funding gap faced by women entrepreneurs in the insurtech sector. Running from February to April 2025, this tailored program provides 13 women-led ventures with specialized training, mentorship, and investor connections to enhance their investment readiness and accelerate their growth.

Through the BimaLab program, participants gain access to Seedstars' proven methodology and tools, including the SIGMA platform with its AI-powered growth tools.
The program offers personalized mentorship, masterclasses, investor networking events, and access to tech perks worth $200,000 from 50+ tools.
Our approach combines online and offline engagements to help women-led insurtech ventures validate their business models and become investment-ready.

Application criteria

Women-led insurtech ventures operating in Africa
Pre-seed to seed stage companies with a viable product
Ventures addressing challenges in insurance accessibility, affordability, or efficiency
Commitment to participate in all program activities (approximately 7 hours per week)
