Community-Based Smart Microgrids

Problem we are solving

Africa has the highest electricity access deficit in the world. About 600 million people still live without access to modern energy, and this has been a major barrier to real economic growth and socio-economic development.

An innovative distributed microgrid system that enables peer-to-peer energy sharing and trading, giving everyone the power to generate, consume and buy or sell electricity to their neighbors, thereby enhancing clean energy access for all.
