About the program

The Enhancing Financial Inclusion in Palestine (EFIP) Program is a collaborative initiative created in partnership with GIZ, dedicated to advancing alternative financial solutions with a strong focus on enhancing financial inclusion within the Palestinian Territories.

Are you an established Microfinance Institution (MFI) in Palestine? Have you recently launched a lending solution or are you in the process of creating one? This is your opportunity to make a significant impact on financial inclusion in Palestine and take your financial services to the next level.

The Enhancing Financial Inclusion in Palestine program is dedicated to boosting the emergence of innovative ideas in the Palestinian market to address the financial inclusion ecosystem.

  • Boosting the emergence of innovative ideas in the Palestinian market to address the financial inclusion ecosystem.
  • Fostering financial literacy and inclusion among consumers and SMEs to cater to the unbanked and underbanked population.
  • Generating use cases that promote sustainable and inclusive financial solutions for Palestinians.
  • Drive positive change in the Palestinian financial landscape and support the growth of innovative solutions that improve access to financial services for all.

Who can apply?

Licensed Microfinance Institutions eligible to operate in the Palestinian market on a digital lending solution.

Pitch Competition Details

  • Pitch Day: 13th November
  • Pitch Format: Virtual pitch event where you'll present your innovative solution to a panel of experts.
  • Prize: The winning MFI will receive 9,000 EUR in grants and advance to the Go-To-Market Support Program.

  • Access the Go-To-Market Support Program, tailored to help you successfully launch your financial solution in Palestine.
