The program was created in collaboration with GIZ to empower alternative financial solutions focused on enhancing financial inclusion in the Palestinian Territories.
Goals of the program:
- Boosting the emergence of innovative ideas in the Palestinian market to address the financial inclusion ecosystem.
- Fostering financial literacy and inclusion among consumers and SMEs to cater to the unbanked and underbanked population.
- Generating use cases that promote sustainable and inclusive financial solutions for Palestinians.
- Drive positive change in the Palestinian financial landscape and support the growth of innovative solutions that improve access to financial services for all.
Expand your business in the Palestinian region!
- If you are a licensed local startup in the microfinance industry looking to expand your reach and promote financial awareness in the Palestinian region.
- You are an international business aiming to contribute to an enhanced financial inclusion and/or financial literacy of Palestinian consumers or SMEs.
Selection Criteria
Criteria:
- Seed to Growth stage businesses contributing to enhancing financial inclusion and/or literacy.
- Having a product or service with the potential to solve an intense pain or need in the Palestinian market.
- Tested MVP/product with a clear value proposition for consumers.
- Having a scalable or tech-based business model.
