Smart Cities Challenge for Startups

• Co-create solutions: LIMA EXPRESA & winning Startups led by Seedstars (structure, mentoring, and tools for business design).
• Own and sell your product/service: IP - Intellectual Property, and startup technology / purchased by LIMA EXPRESA and VINCI Highways, becoming the startups’ client.
• Purchase: After the co-development process, LIMA EXPRESA and the rest of the concessions of the VINCI Group could purchase the solution, becoming clients of the startup.
• Expand your business: opportunity to internationalize your product/service to VINCI Highways Center of Excellence.
• Network and mentoring from executives: at LIMA EXPRESA and VINCI Highways Startups gain knowledge of market needs thanks to the experience, network and knowledge of the group.

Prize: Grant around up to 1,291,000 PEN*** (around 346,000 USD) for all winning solutions to implement the co-development project that meets the challenges proposed. The amount will be split as follows in the Terms and Conditions section below.

• KPI: Targeting up to 5 minutes (detection time) with a 95% to 100% of effectivity
• We are looking for Software solutions (with or without hardware solutions) that allow the quick detection of incidents in the road, determining if it is an accident or an incident (informal event vs formal accident that LIMA EXPRESA needs to detect). We are not looking for a software that registers incidents, we aim for an intelligent system that helps to differentiate a false positive from an accident
• Artificial intelligence, Smart cameras integrated with Ai and Big Data, Machine learning, IoT solutions, Data analytics
• The solution should have an interactive dashboard that allows immediate actions and responses to the accidents
• It would be desirable to include predictive analytics based on history/occurrence or events over the years (weather conditions, traffic or any relevant forecast)

• Solutions for collecting automatically 20 tons of waste per day
• Solutions for Waste valorization, reusing, recycling, or composting the waste collected
