Abela.app is a mobile payments company building an ecosystem to enable people to digitally send, receive, use and save money, creating access to the most basic of financial services. Our platform is cost effective and easy to use, providing our customers with financial autonomy and security they deserve.

Problem we are solving

Millions of people in Sub-Saharan Africa have little or no access to digital financial services. In addition, 4.2 million people in South Africa are foriegn nationals and are unable to get any access to a bank account. Without access to these services, they end up paying unnecessary money to use services through shady means.
