The SUP Challenge

Take the opportunity to run a pilot with our F&B partners to help them reduce Single Use Plastic Waste, and will receive 1:1 tailored support from our experienced Entrepreneurs-in-Residence throughout your pilot journey.

About the program

The SUP Challenge is an Acceleration program launching in Thailand and the Philippines with the initiative to support local entrepreneurs, SMEs, and startups working on solutions that focus on the reduction of Single Use Plastics (SUP) that are applicable to the Food & Beverage industry (F&B).

Up to 10 participants from each country will be selected to join the program with the opportunity to run a pilot solution with our local F&B partners to help them reduce single-use plastic wastes. . Selected participants will receive close and tailored support to discuss, design, and implement their pilot solutions with our F&B partners.

Participants will also have full access to the program’s main activities including: F&B partner pilot matching and support, Seedstars online investment readiness contents, Live capacity building workshops, 1:1 mentorships, and opportunity to secure a pilot grant.

Application criteria

Apply if:

  • You're an early-stage entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs in Thailand or the Philippines
  • You're working on a product/ service that can help reduce Single Use Plastics in the F&B ( Food & Beverage) industry
  • You are ready to run a short pilot with our F&B partner in Aug 2022

Benefits

  • You'll have the opportunity to be matched with our local F&B partner to run a 2-month pilot to help reduce their use of Single Use Plastic
  • You’ll receive a 1:1 support & advice on your pilot testing, and up to 800 USD grant (the amount of grant will depend on your company stage)
  • Capacity Building workshops on entrepreneurship and venture building
  • 1:1 Mentorship sessions from Seedstars’ global mentors and local experts in respective fields
  • International peer-to-peer learning & knowledge exchange between cohort participants in Thailand and the Philippines
