In this Seedstars World Competition edition we have seen inspiring entrepreneurs giving all of themselves for a chance to compete in the Grand Finale, especially in Africa where after watching 25 startups pitching in the Regional Stage, we are ready to see the best 5 companies taking part of the Africa Regional Final. The winner from Tanzania, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Zambia, or Ivory Coast will get the chance to pitch with other startups globally for an investment of up to $500k.

Flamingoo Foods from Tanzania is a startup that uses cutting-edge climate tech to forecast food deficit and surplus areas before they are known and proactively reacts to food insecurity. Ladda from Nigeria is a startup that democratizes access to investment for retail investors backed up by financial literacy. Rohobot from Ethiopia is a startup that provides quality home-based healthcare services for chronic illness and aged peoples with skilled health professionals at affordable prices. Sparco Inc. from Zambia is a startup that provides tools to allow businesses to collect money from their customers anywhere and also have access to a pool of delivery companies. And last but not least, Capture Solutions from Ivory Coast is a startup that provides the best ICT operational agri-supply management system in Africa.

But that’s not all! During the Regional Final, we will have a Panel Discussion on Gender Equality and Women Empowerment with amazing speakers from IFC, Zafree Papers, and serial entrepreneurs from Africa.
