Out of more more than 450 applications LIF 2022 received from different countries in the LATAM region, 96 were selected for the evaluation process, 20 presented their proposals at the Pitch Day, and only 10 were selected as the winners moving on to the the acceleration program by Seedstars and Endeavor at the beginning of next year.

The 10 winning startups were Zumma, Easy For You -EFY, INCLUIRTEC, Hi Sofi, Primer Latam SAS, Velara Fintch, Munay, Warmi, Mujeres WOW, and Súper Pagos.

LIF 2022 is a platform that brings together the public and private sectors, entrepreneurs and investors with the aim of promoting business opportunities, encouraging interaction between members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and providing concrete solutions to development needs raised by the partners of this initiative.

Juan Carlos Elorza, CAF's Director of Analysis and Technical Evaluation of the Private Sector, commented that the main objective of the fourth edition of the Financial Inclusion Lab focused on identifying and promoting viable solutions with high technological content that help solve needs in various areas such as education and financial capabilities of women, financial services with a gender focus, and financial inclusion with an impact on the productivity of MSMEs.
