June 7 2021 - Seedstars and Waterpreneurs are launching the Seedstars: Water Nexus programme to connect, train and bolster the water industry in Asia.
Many players in the water industry are not acting in tandem and this partnership aims to bring together these key players to create a pipeline of both regional and local tech solutions addressing water-related issues. To achieve this, the Seedstars: Water Nexus will host a series of activities that leverage and connect key stakeholders in Asia across 3 pillars: water, finance and entrepreneurship.
Seedstars will conduct tailored capacity-building activities across Asia to identify, build and grow tech solutions. These activities will come in the form of Seedstars’ ecosystem building programs, including Hackathons, Launchpads and Academy Program, which will be further supported by Waterpreneurs’ thematic water expertise.

Waterpreneurs brings its “Innovate 4 Water” methodology to the partnership, which connects and accelerates local solutions for local water-related issues with entrepreneurs, investors and enablers from the water nexus. Existing solutions are not only given a platform to showcase their offerings but also to meet investors and connect with other key players in the ecosystem. The 2-day forums are designed to provoke major systemic change and to consolidate investment ecosystems in the shortest possible time.
