With a long experience in supply chain and logistics at international level, Pierre-Yves Bridel and Peter Gustavsson went on to create OriginFood in 2018, a startup that develops solutions for tracking, tracing and certifying food products, based on blockchain technology. Bringing transparency to the supply chain is the core of its business, but in the process, the start-up uses its know-how on socially responsible projects, such as the collaboration with Jan & Oscar Foundation, one that’s helping to trace plastic waste in the oceans.
OriginFood is part of the Nutrition and Food Technologies Program by the canton of Vaud, the leading partner of the Seedstars World's Grand Finale 2021.
