LIF 2021 brings together the public and private sector, investors, and entrepreneurs to promote business opportunities, encourage interaction between members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and provide concrete solutions to the financial inclusion issues raised in the terms and conditions doc.

Acceleration and Funding

Initiatives submitted to LIF 2020 (apply here) will have a wide range of funding and acceleration opportunities, including the following:

• The 8 winning proposals will participate in the Endeavor and Seedstars acceleration programs, which will take place between January and June 2022.
• The semi-finalists will participate in investment workshops given by Village Capital.
• All proposals will have the possibility of being part of a round of financing from leading private banks and investment funds in Latin America and the Caribbean, subject to a prior show of interest by the actors involved.

Important Dates

• The deadline for submission will be from August 3 to September 8, 2021 at 11:59 pm.
• The announcement of the shortlisted proposals will be made between October 11 and 15.
• Pitch presentation & Demo Day: November 9, 2020.
• Acceleration activities: January to June 2022.
